On 14 October 2026, BeST is hosting an event "From Mine to Mission - Critical Raw Materials for Defence Capability".
This high-level policy dialogue focuses on Europe's defence capabilities that increasingly depend on secure and resilient access to critical raw materials. At a time of heightened geopolitical tensions, rising defence expenditure, and growing concerns about strategic dependencies, ensuring access to critical raw materials has become a core element of European security and defence policy. It aims to explore how Europe can strengthen the resilience of critical raw material supply chains that underpin defence capabilities and defence-industrial readiness.
This event is supported by the Critical Raw Materials Alliance (CRM Alliance).
